Caplinger Mill

On Saturday, Cathy and I went on a little photo expedition. She’s bought a camera just like mine, a Nikon D70, and I was teaching her some of what little I know. It’s such a wonderful camera and it can do so much. My photography has improved 100 fold just because of the camera and not because of the nut holding the camera. Photoshop helps too.

These are pictures that were taken at Caplinger Mill; an almost defunct community on the Sac River. The bridge is still there, but one can only walk across it. The dam is there and ruins of the mill works. It’s a lovely place any time of the year.
