Poppies, Poppies, And More Poppies
I always look forward to mid-May for the poppies to bloom. I started this bed about five years ago and they get better and better each year. They reseed themselves and I throw out more seed every fall when ever I stumble upon another package of another color, shape, or size. The neighborhood has come to expect the annual blooming and now they are asking for seeds and questioning when to sow them. I could become “Emmie Poppy Seed!”
